Living on Aboriginal Land
Explores notions of Aboriginal sovereignty, land rights and reconciliation as well as the history of the frontier wars, colonisation, the Aboriginal “protection” laws and modern indigenous policies. The workshop challenges non-Aboriginal participants to consider Australia from an Aboriginal perspective and their role in it.

Murri Movements
Murri Movements workshops and training sessions in contemporary dance, from an Aboriginal perspective. (if appropriate, traditional dance instruction for Aboriginal women and girls) Murri Movements workshops are for fun, fitness and creative development that provide a theoretical underpinning based on indigenous notions of culture, spirituality and art.. for indigenous women and girls, the workshop will look at culture, identity and family and tribal histories as well as law and instruction relationg to traditional dance Sessions include short lecture and/or cultural presentation. training in global dance traditions,.creative movement, breathing, warm up, warm down and rehearsal techniques, music and choreography Each session will also include a dance workout.
If required, these workshops can be used to create a dance production to be performed at a community event. Guest presenters on Aboriginality, culture and identity will also be in the program

Wild Art
Wild Art is a program for everyone, from those who don’t believe they can paint through to professional artists of any genre or media who are looking for new perspectives, challenges and inspiration in their work For beginners, Wild Art will teach a range of simple abstract/impressionist painting techniques and basic design appropriate to painting on a canvas.

Wild Art focuses on environmental art including an anlysis of migrant landscape concepts and movements, Aboriginal art and art for cultural healing. Wild Art challenges participants to use art as a way of expressing inner ideas and external relationships, especially those things that do not fit easily into words.
